I’ve been thinking about the incredibly resilient students I met through the Horatio Alger Association. These young Scholars overcame unbelievably tough challenges before the pandemic, and like most of America, are facing new challenges today. It’s how you choose to overcome those challenges that matters. Through hard work and perseverance, we will get through these tough times together. When fear is gone, opportunity is endless. I hope my words to the students back when I was inducted into the Horatio Alger Association can help you dig deep and keep pushing through the obstacles you’re facing today.
